Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need a software that will run online and as a stand alone software. The online version of the software will have password and login details, and be able to detect IP addresses of the users. Users that are not registered to that IP address will be logged out of the system.
The software will produce dowsing charts (See attached). Because of the flexible nature of dowsing charts, the number of segments required can vary from 2 to 40. Visually, these will look like equal segments in a semi-circle, or a complete circle. The user will be able to print out the chart that they have designed through the use of this software in pdf format and download it to their computer. They should be able to have 3 attempts to download the file.
Administration:
we should be able to change the price and the number of charts permitted within each option at any time, via an admin page accessible only by us.
We should have the option to manually block users and subscribers, to suspend their accounts and/or reactivate them as necessary.
We (the administrator) should also be able to access the system and print our own charts free of charge at any time.
We (the admin) should also be able to create a discount code that will reduce the price of any order for individual charts by a percentage (flexible) chose by us. This discount code should be able to be added, amended and deleted by us at any time, and a expiry date facility for these codes should also be available for our use.
Copies of all reports created should also be made and the pdf emailed to us upon the completion of all purchases.
Option 1 (this will apply to 1 time only purchases)
The Process:
All charts produced will have our logo/name at the top (name to be advised) and our copyright notice at the bottom of the chart.
1. the user goes to the website and logs in (or opens the software)
2. they select "create you dowsing chart"
3. they are provided with a series of options. These will be
a. to produce a circular or semi-circular chart
b. to input the name of their chart
b. to select the number of fields (segments) to the chart. There should be a note confirming that the fields will be displayed on the chart in the order they write them, from left to right. In the case of a circular chart from 9 o'clock, clockwise
c. to name each segment or to leave the segment blank (this data is later to be added automatically to the appropriate segment before it is printed). This should take the form of a series of fields (to be calculated based on the number of fields originally chosen) into which they can place their chosen name for each segment.
d. the option to review the chart before printing, and if necessary to edit it, allowing them to go back to add or subtract fields.
e. if they select edit, and change any fields, to once again, be able to preview their chart before printing
f. under either circumstance, having previewed the chart, the user should then be able to select complete (having first checked a box that confirms that they approve the chart).
g. the completed chart should then be made available as a pdf for download by the user
h. the user should not be able to go back at this stage, thus prohibiting them from producing a second chart.
j.this should complete the process, logging the user out of the system and defaulting back to the homepage
Option 2 (in addition to option 1) all options should be provided at the point of purchase
A monthly subscriptions. (amount to be decided) This should provide the option to subscribe for a specific number of charts a month, later to be decided.
This option will provide the facility for a user account to be created. This account would contain their name, email address, date the subscription started and the monthly cost. This system should automatically renew the subscription unless cancelled by the subscriber through a cancellation option. Payment should automatically be debited from their paypal account on the monthly anniversary of their subscription.
Users should be blocked from the system if payment is not received on the due date automatically.
Programmer must be fluent in English.
Additional requirements: all software and/or programs will contain graphics and/or logos of our choosing
the successful tender/programmer will agree to sign over all rights of ownership and intellectual property to us as the sole owner of all work done.
Happy bidding!
