Description
I need a smart and fast worker to research and write-up a number of health-related mini blog posts (circa 500 words) for our blog and related summaries for our social media feeds. You must have an excellent command of the English language.
I will provide the initial topics, the angle and samples of previous work. What I need from you is your creativity, research skills and the ability to draw people in with your style. The style must resemble that of an up-market publication - Tatler. Ideally, you will have a background and keen interest in health, wellness and fitness and be able to demonstrate previous similar work. Articles should be well-structured, flow well and SEO-friendly.
Our blog posts are a way on inviting engagement from our readers in the form of general feedback and as an invite for people to get in touch with us for more information.
I need about 20 articles initially, but there is room for a lot more work. I estimate this to be a 40-hour piece of work, which means it is circa £5 per hour. I have a fixed budget which is non-negotiable, so please do not apply with a view to negotiating, or extending scope.
If you are interested in this opportunity, get in touch.
Thank you.

yes it occurs to us all to apply for a job and name our own rate but when it states categorically it is a fixed price and there is no negotiation - what's the point?
-
Does it not occur to anyone that you can apply for a job and name your own rate? I would not work for the stipulated price on this job but when you contact direct ( via proposal) the buyer is often open to negotiation. As one long standing writer on here often admonishes, WE set the price we will write for not the buyer. I often negotiate prices, sometimes down and sometimes up.

Intermediate? Should be Insult.
-
You can't list your job as wanting "intermediate" skill if you are paying these kinds of rates. This is why you will get content, but it will be crap and in the end, it will be a total waste of your money. No good writer is going to apply for this kind of job. As for you PPH...this is why I don't use sites like this anymore...most of your clients do not understand the value of online content, so they're not prepared to see it as a marketing investment.

Talented writer for £5 an hour- less PPH Commission ? This has stuck a real chord with me - a very angry one!!
-
£10 per 500 words is ENTRY rates. Try changing your job spec.
-
This sort of project does nothing for this platform. Sub minimum wage for first class work from experienced copywriters, another planet springs to mind.
-
Stefanie - you are obviously an educated girl - your job offer is a joke and an insult. Seriously PPH - can you really accept a job advertising on your website that works out at £5 per hour! That is my one reservation about this site as it happens so often. You should have some standards!
-
5£ an hour is below minimum wage you do realize!! Ridiculous!!
