    Instagram Verification (Blue Tick) is still on the old system of only being for well-known figures and brands. You can't currently request it. But since the FB take over more then likely this will change in the near future.

    Unfortunately you cant apply you have to be invited. Usually around the 10K mark they start to pay attention.

    You just have to wait till the application program is rolled out.
