Facebook and twitter site maintenance and development

Description: Apex is a long established agency offering a range of event and exhibition services worldwide from our offices in Cheshire.
Our website is currently being upgraded and we will be including a strong link to associated social media sites (Facebook and Twitter). These will be used to transmit relevant and useful business information about the company and it's activities with a view to driving traffic to the website and encouraging potential customers to get in touch.
Our in house staff do not have sufficient time to regularly update and maintain the social media sites, although they are able to provide the pictures and stories that will form the core content. We therefore want to team up with a freelance expert who can:
Write regular twitter output based on availability of quality content (perhaps 6 - 10 per month) rather than junk output for the sake of tweeting 3 times a day.
Actively build a community of relevant followers who appreciate the quality of output and want to take the feed.
In a similar way author and post content to our Facebook page and promote it to our target audience.
This will initially be a trial period, but may be extended if we are happy we are working with the right person.
Our requirements for hiring are as follows. These are NOT negotiable, so please DO NOT APPLY if you can't meet these criteria:
1/ Significant and demonstrable experience of hands-on managing of social media campaigns in a B2B environment. You will be asked to provide live examples of your current and recent client work.
2/ UK based. A very strong preference will be given to those in our region (Cheshire, Derbyshire, Gtr Manchester))
3/ Experience of writing persuasive copy for B2B marketing purposes.
4/ An ability based on experience for building an ongoing community of relevant followers. You will be asked to demonstrate success in this area for current and past B2B clients.
5/ No conflicts of interest - i.e. existing clients delivering similar services to us.
