Require a business Facebook page to be taken down

A fews years ago a customer set up a Facebook page for my company. I have been trying to take this down now for almost a year and have contact Facebook many, many times to see if they can help me. To date they have never come back to me. This page is confusing my customers and I desperately need this taken down. Can anyone help me. I don't have any of the password, etc for this page. It is very frustrating!
