Implementation of social media strategy - suit recent graduate

I have a simple social media strategy in place for a very new and very small start-up, but need some help with implementing it. This will involve setting up blog in Wordpress (half set up), setting up Facebook and Twitter competition and prize draw. This would be suitable for a recent graduate who has a good grasp of how students use social media. Start - immediately. Deliverables = raised profile amongst student population (especially Russell Group Universities) a shown by increase in Twitter follows/Facebook likes.
