Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hi all,
I am launching my new nutrition business (I have been working as a Personal Trainer for some time now but adjusting my focus to be primarily nutrition after completing a 1 year Nutrition course). I am an evidence based practitioner, meaning that all my knowledge is based in solid science.
I am so frustrated by the so called 'health' gurus on the internet that post misleading, inflammatory and often scientifically incorrect information in order to increase their followings.
In order to maximise my reach across Facebook I would like to post in Groups as well as my business page.
I offer a free Skype/call to allow individuals (primarily women aged 25 to 45 years old) to understand how they can lose weight and find more energy without having to exercise. This is what I will be posting to the groups and/OR just informative useful content that will help people with their food (depending on what the groups allow).
My Facebook business page is www.facebook.com/lamornafitness (my website is currently being re written).
I am a member of a lot of Facebook groups, I don't know how many. I would like to know the following:
1.) Which groups do I belong to ALLOW business posts which are specifically marketing their business? Do they allow posts only on certain days? How many members are in the group?
2.) Which groups do I below to do not allow advertising of businesses but do allow INFORMATIVE posts, e.g. I can post about the number of calories in a piece of cake, how not to put on weight over the Christmas period etc. (This may involve contacting the administrator directly to receive permission and to understand if I need to post either as my personal profile or my business profile). How many members are in each group?
3.) Which groups do I NOT belong to that I should!
Ideally we will end up with a list and schedule of which groups I can regularly post in without being blocked by Facebook for posting too often.
I am also interested to understand your suggestions based on previous experience and knowledge.
Thank you,
Lamorna
