Small module for Zend Framework based PHP app

We have a website with a custom CMS that was built on Zend Framework.

This website pulls in the company's latest news articles from a single RSS feed.

We need people to be able to enter an email address and then receive an email alert every time a new article comes in via the RSS feed.

*Full brief:
- Send an alert to a subscription list at Campaign Monitor when an RSS feed is updated. The alert should contain the date and headline of the new article.
- The solution should be a PHP script that can be run as a cron every 5 minutes.

*Further Details:
- The list of recipients will already exist in campaign monitor, but the list ID should be a variable within the script.
- The date and headline of the article will be variables sent to campaign monitor, which get transposed into the email template at send time.
- Sending the email will involve creating a new campaign, using a predefined HTML template, setting the subscriber list and then actually sending the email.
- The system should also keep a log of activity, the log file path should be configurable.
