A clients site has a large MySQL database that is performing poorly. The cause appears to be verbose queries that are resulting in large "copying to tmp table" values. Certain queries are taking 45s+ to execute.
We need a MySQL expert to analyse the reasons why. We have attempted to create a ramdisk to force the tmp tables to exist in RAM not on disk, but this does not appear to have worked.
