Sketchup model from PDF plans and photos

We have PDF plans of our 3 storey building (which is rectangular and very symmetrical), which we would like turned into a Google Sketchup Model, constructed to scale.

We would like major components, such as staircases, to be kept as separate entities (e.g. as components) so we can make basic edits to the model ourselves if needed.

We would like the inside of the building to be included in the model. There are currently 5 rooms, with one internal staircase and 3 toilets.

Attached are provisional external plans (there have been minor changes to the building since these were drawn, which we can sketch) and a photo of the building. I have saved the plans as jpg but can provide as vectors.
