Description
Experience Level: Expert
The purpose of this project is to provide a ‘virtual laboratory’ based on computer simulation. A mathematical model of a stand-alone synchronous generator must be given and using this as a base the ‘virtual laboratory’ is used to simulate a steam turbine synchronous generator within its operating points. The SCILAB/XCOS software version 5.3.3 should be used for the simulation.
Upon successful simulation of the generator in the SCILAB/XCOS, the simulation results should be tested and checked for independent accuracy by using MATLAB/SIMULINK software too.
Please refer to the attached file for further understanding.
