Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a client that needs a simple eCommerce site built.
They have the domain already and Wordpress will already be installed.
The site will feature just two products so we don't want an overly complicated eCommerce theme installed. There will be not need for users to be able to filter product searches etc.
Each product page will have a description and an order form. The order form will consist of five fields - depending on the quantity we want the total to change before people add to the basket - so they know how much each quantity would cost them. They can then go on to order different variations of the product by adding more to their basket, before they then checkout.
We want people to be able to pay in two ways - firstly via credit card, then secondly through a purchase order. So users will need the option to a) print the order off so they can give it to their purchasing department who will raise a purchase order and then either email the order with the PO to my client, or log back into the site and submit the order with the PO. Or the client may already have a PO number at the point of ordering, so instead of adding their credit card details they add their PO order number.
We need the ability for people to register so they don't need to re-add their details in with each order, or to be able to checkout as a guest.
We need to have a Prezi presentation in the place of the main image banner on the homepage.
The style and layout of the site is flexible. But I have attached a rough idea of the homepage and product page form here.
I also have a flyer which I can send the successful applicant - this will give you a good idea of the colours and style we're looking for.
I will be able to send you all the images, content and information you need to build and populate the site (you will be responsible for populating it). You will need to inform us on how you would like this content - i.e. in Word and in what format etc.
Things like call to action buttons and other imagery can be supplied but you'll need to tell us what you need exactly.
Only applicants from the UK will be considered. Please type the word 'Prezi' at the beginning of your application to show you have thoroughly read and understood the brief.
We will be acting as project managers for this build. The first stage will be to send some example themes to the client, or an outline of how a custom theme will be built. In terms of timescales, we'd probably like this done by the end of Feb.
