I am looking for a developer who can build a very simple browser based game in HTML5 (NOT Flash!!).
// Game build //
The game must be 100% playable with the mouse, there should be no need to touch the keyboard or ‘right’ click the mouse
The game should launch automatically which means that when the homepage loads, the user should see the game pane filled with an animated countdown: “3”, “2”, “1”, “Go!”, with a one second delay between showing each
When the ‘3,2,1,go’ ends, the timer in the timer pane should then start and we’ll start showing the user five potentially misspelt words (one at a time) with two buttons underneath, one green (Right!), one red (Wrong!) – please use the text ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ on the buttons
We’ll give the user a 10 second time limit to identify up to five correctly or incorrectly spelled words, when the user clicks ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ for the first word, this should prompt displaying the next word – we’ll only show one word at a time
The timer pane will also show whether they got the answer right or wrong.
If the user didn’t click ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ after the ‘3,2,1,go’ and the 10 second timer runs out, we should show a message “You didn’t even try! Even you can be a Winner if you give it a go!”
If the user does play then at the end of the game, if they’ve got all the questions right, we’ll show them this message: “Congratulations! You’ve earned £25 to play Bingo!” – A bright button should then link to our Bingo site via a specific URL.
If the user has got one or more questions wrong, for each question they got right we’ll tell them they’ve earned a multiple of £5 to play Bingo. They should be shown this message: “You’re not quite there yet, but you’ve earned £5/£10/£15/£20 to play Bingo!” – A bright button should then link to the Bingo site via a specific URL.
If the user has got all the questions wrong or they run out of time but they DID click ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ at least once; we’ll tell them they’ve earned £5 to play Bingo and the message should read: “10 out of 10 for effort! You’ve earned £5 to play Bingo!” – A bright button should then link to the Bingo site via a specific URL.
A button marked “Click here to try again” should also be visible in the game pane after the game is complete.
There should also be a level of button/pane animation when the user hovers their cursor over elements of the homepage – this will be to make the game must be as enticing and appear as interactive as possible.
To prove that you have read the above and are not just canvas replying to each and every job post on PPH - please start your message with "Hi Bingo!". Those who don't will automatically be removed from the selection process.
I look forward to hearing from you.
