Simple custom Wordpress query required

I need someone to code a simple Wordpress query for me that organises a set of custom post type posts underneath their respective taxonomy terms

For example;

I have 9 posts in a custom post type called "custom_post_type", separated into 3 terms "Friday, Saturday & Sunday" under a custom taxonomy called "custom_tax"

What I want to do is display them as follows;

Friday

- Post 1
- Post 2
- Post 3

Saturday

- Post 4
- Post 5
- Post 6

Sunday

- Post 7
- Post 8
- Post 9
