Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for someone to provide the following functionality as a privately deployed android app/webapp
Functionality Required:
Works with any Android device that has NFC capability built in. Eg a Nexus tablet or phone.
Works with any RFID chip.
When a RFID chip is scanned, the basic chip ID must be provided to a URL on the internet.
NFC chip ID examples:
8026d0c17b2e04
63c43b2e
953b55e6
5f01ff32
The URL will look something like this and will link to a php script running on a web server:
http://www.domain.com/script.php
The URL must be configurable by the end user. This is the only user settings that will be required.
The chip ID could be submitted via CGI, either using POST or GET. An example of the GET method would be:
http://www.domain.com/script.php?rfid=5f01ff32
There should not be any user interaction needed to perform the action. The Android device must perform the action without requiring the user to click any buttons or make any confirmation or make any selection of which application should handle the scan of the chip.
There should be 4 graphic stages of the app.. Simple blank screen with text reading something like:
1. Ready to scan pass
2. Working
3. You pass has been scanned (success)
4. There has been a problem, please try again (failure)
