Senior freelance welder

We are looking for an experienced person to fill the busy role of CAD Designer.

You will be expected to have plenty of Solidworks experience, be extremely organised, have a good telephone manner, good written English (including punctuation and spelling), and good grasp of mathematics. You should be a strong communicator and work well alone, as well as in a team. Other software experience should include Sketchup, Microsoft Word & Excel. Knowledge of Apple Mac OS X, Photoshop & Illustrator would be helpful.

Your role will include liaising with clients, Senior Designers and Project Management. You will create 3d CAD files based on both your experience and input by Senior Designers - On the larger projects, it is very much a team design effort.

You will be competent exporting files for lasercutting or CNC for example, and also creating production drawings for the workshop technicians to work from.

Hourly Rate: £15-25ph negotiable depending on experience.
Hours: 8.30am – 6.30pm, Monday – Friday.
