Description
Experience Level: Expert
Please NO overseas bids, even if you think you are suitable.
We are a small online education company based in Cambridge, UK. We currently have a solution in place for our needs that is in need of redoing from scratch as we will be moving from our current methodology to using Blackboard Collaborate.
We are currently redesigning the database structure and functionality which will result in a document describing our needs. From this, we need a programmer with skills in PHP, *SQL, *html and other relevant areas to make our document a reality.
During this time we will also be redoing all the website and identity materials. You will work closely with the project manager and designer (but will not be responsible for the front end website).
We have a tight two- month window (june / july) in which to start, test and finish this project, development-wise, with some testing and fixing in August. As part of the reworking, you will be expected to manage a way in which the existing content can be imported into the new database. This is important as it currently runs to thousands of questions.
You are not expected to work in office, but we do expect daily communication when needed and will want to meet in person at important times during the development.
Thank you for reading.
