Sales Director/Consultant

This is a part time temporary role which could build to a full time salaried position. This ad may also seem familiar. I have been trying to recruit for this role using another ad (now withdrawn) as I have been advised that I have not set out my requirements clearly enough.

We are a new firm selling a range of products which are new to the UK. We are presently selling on EBay and through our own site and are having success but we need to get to the next level.

We need professional help to guide us and to help us decide the routes we should take. We feel that there will be a possibility of bulk sales with companies such as Paperchase and John Lewis. We also feel that we need to tackle demand at the grass roots level and set up Party Plan sales.

The products we sell are innovative and good value for money. They are aimed primarily at wedding venues but work in a whole range of different contexts as well.

We are small and new but with very big ambitions. We cannot afford to pay silly money at this point but we will reward the person who can help us achieve success very generously.

I have not set a budget for this job as I have no idea what it is worth. It is unlikely that we will choose the cheapest option – we are looking for balance.
