Redevelop jewellery e-commerce shop off Volusion onto Wordpress (probably)

My part time jewellery biz got hit badly by Penguin and rocketed from p1 to p250... Want to move off volusion as has no capability to integrate blog functionality and we need to stop relying on on page SEO and links. Have suspended link building etc to rethink the strategy. Looking for a smart partner in that thinking as well as someone to take the execution off my shoulders. Naturally budget tight but right now have ton of stock and a site that's a bit of a dog. Think Wordpress plus Jigoshop may be answer. Want help to decide direction, export current content, find and adapt a nice minimalist theme, with blog area, get live on appropriate hosting, add in existing Google analytics code. I can do a certain amount of this but have limited time so we need to decide division of labour...
Current site is www.colourmatchaccessories.com and also did a site at www.pearlsuk.com for catalogue. Don't laugh, I did that one myself.
Open to alternate directions/suggestions...but looking for platform without financial sting in tail and great blogging / SEO and SM tools
