Description
Experience Level: Expert
Our web site allows visitors to calculate and apply for an insulation grant for their home.
The current form is causing issues on some browsers and is not designed for mobile users.
We need an experienced PHP coder who can take the time to redesign the form properly to ensure it is user-friendly and cross browser compatible.
There will also need to be a mobile version of the form and it'll need to detect if the user is visiting on a mobile and display the appropriate form to them.
There are four steps to the form:
1) enter postcode,
2) select age, home ownership and benefits received
3) display the users grant entitlement and ask them to select insulation required
4) complete contact details.
This information is then submitted by form post to our backend system and a thank you page is displayed.
There are a few bits in between these steps, but nothing too complicated.
The form will need to be validated on submit using jquery to ensure it has been completed correctly.
The existing form will be sent to you and this has all the content needing to be displayed to the user.
This Job will need to be started within the next few days.
