RAF Air Training Corps Recruitment & Promotion Video

I am Pilot Officer Blount of 292 Squadron based in Manchester. The squadron has been dwindling in cadet numbers and struggles to recruit young people into the organisation. This is down to many reasons, budget, background, mates and also not knowing what we do. I have been brought to the Squadron to turn it around and boost recruitment. After being at the squadron only a month, we have gone from 12 to 19 cadets. These are mainly the ones who left because they were bored. I am working my butt of to make it better and give them all the opportunities they expect from the Air Cadets.

I love my role and it is completely voluntary! I have invested a lot of time and effort into producing flyers, posters and other recruitment media. We are also updating the website from this horrible drab thing, to an all singing site. All paid for out of my own pocket, which I am more than happy to do, because I believe in these young adults and what we can do for them!

As soon as the website is done in the next week or two, I want to be visiting the local schools and fates etc to spread the word. I would like to have a short 5-8 minute video similar to (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpt-yw83Qis) that I can take into schools and the like to promote what we do. Also saves me waffling on and boring the kids. Cadets is aged for people 13-20 so needs to be snazzy and eye catching. Keeping them amused and sparking interest.

I would love to throw hundreds of £££ at this, however I also have bills to pay and charity fundraising shouldn't be spent of videos. I have a large selection of photographs and some short candid videos, but the majority of content will have to come from http://www.raf.mod.uk/aircadets/findasquadron/ and YouTube.
