Professional website ecommerce shop for personalised gifts

We require a quotation for a new Website which will replace the existing 1&1 hosted eCommerce Shop.
Please submit a proposal together with your quotation and if you wish make additional suggestions for improvements.

Introduction
We are currently hosting our website “personalgiftstoyou.co.uk” on 1&1’s eCommerce shop.
Due to the many shortcomings of the website we would like to create our own website hosted by (we have been advised) by a local but large hosting company. Rackspace and Go Daddy are supposedly the best but due to our small business, iomart or ukfast are perhaps more suitable, we are open to alternative suggestions.

Design of New Website
Similar to the design of “Getting Personal Website”(See below). The Front Page to be less fussy. Banner to have less images, include Flash advert/animation of different categories of gifts as per Getting Personal.
Site map Main Headings to consist of:-
Home - Items,
For Her,
For Him,
For Children,
For Teenagers,
Occasions,
Seasonal,
-and drop downs on these,
-then each item page to have , Basket- Checkout, Order Complete.
-It would be desirable if the headings could be edited for minor changes in the future.
- The items may cross over into each section

Personalisation Section
We also need to be able to allow personalised items on the items pages where they can input specific wording, this only applies on specific items, therefore on the admin side there would need to be certain drop down menus for the specific categories.

Payment must be available by PayPal and for most major VISA & MasterCard credit and debit cards.

Hidden Admin section:
-Where the items can be uploaded,
-Where we can monitor stock and also run reports for sales and figures, that can be extrapolated to run Book-keeping, VAT on our other packages.



Existing Website and Domains
Our current website is www.personalgiftstoyou.co.uk (we also have the domain www.personalgiftstoyou.com)
Both domains have been purchased from 1&1 and we understand are ours.
Unfortunately we are limited to what we can do and what images we can put on.
The layout on the pages is Portrait but would probably be better as Landscape with the existing small pictures.
The images of each item are far too small and the text too large and overbearing, ideally the pictures should be large and text to one side or underneath! Providing the pictures were much larger either a portrait or landscape format could be used.

Our Competition
Getting Personal is our main competition and their website is what we would like to be similar to, as they have got a good template for all kinds of personal and non-personal gifts, however it cannot be the same and needs to be differentiated and individual to ourselves.
