Printer Cartridge Finder

I had a printer cartridge finder module written for OC quite some time ago. Personally I think the quality of his work was a little clumsy as he didn't fully understand the requirements and then hacked it to work and it required a separate empty database with the name of the main database that all the stores look at. However, I am not asking you to re-write this and I only include the code if you're interested in seeing it so that you have the database name and fields etc. I also include a dump of the mysql table as well so you have all the columns.

Basically, at the top of this site that I am developing at the moment http://perfectgreen.buzzlive.co.uk there is going to be a printer cartridge finder (just like the one on the OC stores, i.e. www.techntoner.co.uk using the above OC module) but it filters only for Perfect Green products.

The existing site www.perfectgreen.co.uk shows how this works. The idea being that you can find the compatible Perfect Green cartridge for your printer.

I need to recreate this but to work with Wordpress and as its going to be on the same server, I would like it to look at the existing betawebstore-compatibility database and pull data from the compatibility_data table where brand = PERFECT GREEN COMPATIBLE and then populate the Make and Model dropdown fields with the available machines.

Then when someone chooses a make and model it then goes to a separate page that will display some introductory text such as

We've found the cartridge for your [make] and [model] printer:

Part code [code]
Cartridge [original_item_description]
Page Yield [yield]
Model [model]
PG Code [beta_code]

I don't want to create any modules so it would just be the raw PHP code that I would need to do this which I can then slot into the Wordpress Header and then create a new page template which this will link to and display the results.

So quite a simple little task really.

Your schedule permitting of course but if you could do this after the next import mods that would be great. And of course if you need anything else or want me to clarify anything then please let me know.
