Prepare Interview Questions for me

I'm hiring a front end developer from Ukraine for a job that requires the use of Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, css3, REST and JSON. I need to to interview him but I don't know much about front end technologies (I'm very familair with server side).

Application performance is critical so I need to ensure the developer knows how to write very effecient code.

I need someone to prepare 7 - 10 questions (with answers) for me to ask the developer. The questions should focus on testing the candidate's ability to write very effecient code in all the above technologies.

The questions can be in any form, and could be a mixture of questions that require verbal answers or questions that require him to write sample code.
