PR for upcoming launch event

I am looking for a skilled PR professional to assist with gaining publicity for the February launch event of an innovative training course on risk management.

The launch is centred around a film premiere (an accompaniment to the course) and is expected to be attended by CEOs, Executives and Senior Managers within the world of risk management, banking and insurance, as well as key individuals from the public sector.

Through a series of PR activities over the past few months, we have managed to gain coverage in specialist press, but the focus now is to attract MAINSTREAM media attention for this event. As such, I am looking for someone who already has relevant contacts in this area or is willing to carry out the necessary research (on your own accord) to obtain it.

What is required:

1) Reading through all materials relating to the event to decide best media angle(s);

2) Writing an excellent press release targeted at mainstream media (including TV & radio);

3) Sending out this press release to at least 20 relevant contacts acquired by you (through a company email address that will be provided);*

4) Adapting this press release for use in the risk sector (you will not be required to send this out as we already have contacts in this area).

*Just to clarify on point number 3 - you can either send the initial email yourself to the 20 contacts through the provided account, or you can email across a spreadsheet of contact details and we will do it ourselves in-house. Either way, you will not be expected to follow up on the press release with phone calls or anything like that so please do not include a charge for this in your bid.

I would prefer to only receive bids for this project from freelancers who are happy with the terms outlined in this brief, including the fee - please do not use the clarification board to ask if I can raise the fee or anything of that nature as your request will be politely ignored. However, please do feel free to ask if you require further clarification on anything prior to submitting your bid.
