Hello graphic designers,
I\'m starting an online university next semester, and to reflect how radically different our approach is, I want some radically different posters to put up around the local colleges to persuade students to take our classes and transfer them to their larger, significantly more expensive university.
To the point of what you would do, I want posters in the style of movie posters, old concert posters, things of that nature, but advertising specific classes offered next semester. This can either be direct parodies of movies popular with our targeted demographic (such as b/w Edgar Allen Poe with the Big Lebowski\'s rainbow sunglasses for American Literature, for instance), in a specific nostalgiac movie poster style (American History classes could easily dip into this territory), or just mocked up as contemporary TV show type things, with fake reviews using famous scientist quotes (Coming this spring: Biology 100, Mendeleev hails biology as \"one of the top sciences of our time.\" )
We\'re obviously targeting younger internet savvy people to take online classes for their first two years of college, so this is the style I would like to use in targeting them for classes. These should be posters that can have tear-off tabs with contact info as well, but i dont expect them to be printed much larger than the average bulletin-board at a coffee shop appropriate size.
Since the budget range is mandated in per hour terms, I would also need an estimate of your rate of posters per hour.
