Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a small project that I require an experienced PHP developer for.
It is a small diary application built on the Laravel 4 framework, that requires some small amends to the system.
1. All dates in the date fields/selections require changing to display as UK date format but they must be stored in the database as e.g. 2013-10-10. The system uses the Twitter Bootstrap DatePicker plugin.
2. The system currently has the ability to add multiple date/diary entries en-mass, as well as the facility to mass update entries currently in the system. We would like to add a feature to the diary system that allows a user to simply click an empty slot in the diary view, which in turn will bring up selections for specific sessions, e.g. 1:1, 1:2, 2:1, 2:2 etc. These sessions will be tied to specific time intervals. Once selected the user will be able to add a single entry or a mass entry, as they currently can.
3. I require functionality that allows the user to select from a 'Go to Date' selector that will bring up a 3 month calander view/drop down, previous month, current month and next month. When the user selects a specific month/day the system will jump to that month in the view. It already contains the facility to jump to the current day and also cycle through each day/month/week, so this should be a straightforward modification.
4. Finally, when a user is creating a session, they can select a start and end date for mass record adding. I would like the end date to have set as the default date selection, the current date plus 5 years.
This is the basic functionality required, and for a fast turnaround (by Monday evening - 03/06/2013) the chosen developer will receive an extra £150.
I estimate this to take an experienced developer around 6 to 8 hours.
I have full specs and access to the full system, please ask for details.
In your quotes/replies, please answer this question so that I know you have fully read the post. What colour is an Apple?
Thanks for taking the time to read. I look forward to your replies.
Kind Regards
Gareth
