PCB / Firmware Design/Delivery

A PCB designed with 2 off RS232 ports. Designed to convert inter-character gaps into a propagation delay of an entire message on data received on one of the RS232 ports. Its function shall be that data received on port 1 (Strict Timing Side) shall be propagated to the second RS232 port without any special handling. Data received from Port 2 (Relaxed Timing Side) shall be buffered on receipt, and then transmitted after receipt of entire message, and as such avoiding inter-character gaps which are present on the Port 2 transmissions.
