Part Time IT Support - Tyneside/Teesside Area Only

A part time IT support engineer is required for a new start-up company based in the North East of England - Please Note; site visits will be required so you must reside between Middlesbrough & Newcastle. Candidates outside of the North East will be rejected.
This is a role for a freelancer initially, the candidate can be home based initially with the emphasis on remote resolution of issue but site visits will be required either to troubleshoot issues that cannot be resolved remotely or to support the Sales Manager. There is every possibility that the hours required will increase.

We are looking for someone who has a strong aptitude for IT & have the ability to solve entry level issues as well as more complex queries.
Responsibilities & duties include:

• 1st/2nd Line and Helpdesk Support
• Assisting end users, either face to face or over the telephone
• Assisting Sales Manager as required
• Site visits as required

Experience with following technologies:
• Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server
• Windows XP - Win7
• Office 2003/2007/2010
• Exchange 2003/2007
• Networking
• Active Directory

Any experience of the following an advantage:
• SQL
• Scripting
• Kaseya
• Autotask

Must be customer focussed and have a full UK drivers licence.
Must be available between the hours of 9-5 Monday-Friday.
