Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are currently looking to recruit someone who will be able to conduct testing of a new online shopping website, in a variety of different web browsers.
This testing will require you to work through the website, doing functional testing and also pointing out things which don't quite look right.
The person who is awarded this contract will be expected to:
- Know ways of potentially breaking websites (e.g by including apostrophes in field inputs for example)
- Provide feedback on visual things (e.g if a font changes size)
- File bug reports that are meaningful and contain required information about the bug (how you got there, what you inputted etc.)
- Report each day (by 3.00pm UTC) with a list of what has been tested and what the plan is for the next day.
- Have a very good understanding of English and be able to communicate well
The testing regime for the website is relatively short in time span, and we will provide details of the general areas of testing we require you to complete, but we also expect you to show and use your own initiative - thinking outside the box, trying things we haven't thought of etc.
We will only respond to people who include the word 'comic' in their advert, to show that they have read and understood the information in this advert.
Please provide information on your qualities in the response to this advert, and if possible, links to previous jobs where you've completed a similar role.
