Online marketing for holiday website

We launched a holiday website last year and now need to increase holidaymakers visiting our site.

As a start up our marketing budget is obviously limited - we are looking for someone who can take responsibility for marketing the website therefore we would envisage this being a longer term role for which we would pay monthly.

Our own thoughts when putting together our business plan was social media would be a great and cost effective way of attracting traffic. However we are open to other imaginative suggestions.

Please give an indication of the sort of things you would envisage implementing and what sort of monthly fee you would be looking for.
