We are a registered charity that works with women who are victims of violence. We are looking to commission the development of the equivalent of a ‘funds raised thermometer’ for our Christmas appeal.
We would like this to be in the shape of a house that fills with an amount of colour depending on the amount raised.
The thermometer would need to be coded so that it acts as a widget embedded into our website, which we are able to update manually as the amount raised increases.
The thermometer will need to be able to cope with exceeding our target amount (i.e. change to a different colour once we are over 100% of target for example).
Here is an example of the type of thing we mean (though example works with a standard thermometer shape): http://xdal.org/thermometer/thermometer.cgi?showText=on&goalText=Appeal+target%3A&goal=1000¤t=2&asOf=as+of+8th+Nov&suffix=nights&unit=&precision=0&graduations=8&width=286
In terms of the variable fields they are as follows, we need to enter:
o Number of nights raised so far:
o Target number of nights:
In terms of scale this should be up to 1,000 (in increments of 50 units).
The thermometer must meet minimum accessibility standards. As we are charity, cost is especially important to us. We would need the final version to be ready to be published by 20th November.
