New look and feel for website template

I need a new mockup designed for an existing website, this mockup will then be passed on and converted to an HTML template.

I need to take the design to client by Wednesday this week: 9 October

I already have a rather bold option. What I need now is a safe option that the client will feel comfortable moving towards. The existing website has allot of bright colours and the cover of the Magazine must appear on the first page. I'm looking for a fresh and updated look and feel for what is there already.

The quality of the work needs to inline with the themes put out by yooTheme (http://www.yootheme.com) or Rocket themes (http://www.rockettheme.com)

I need to show the home page and an advertisers page - Ill give you the website address on acceptance of the work.

I'll need the original photoshop / illustrator files for html/css conversion.
