Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
The project in question is the development and integration of a Fraud and Money Laundering Prevention tool into the existing databases of two card services providers.
The section of the project we need to source a candidate for is the datasource configuration module, work involved in this section of the development will be the creation of a data import module to import predefined .csv files (or XML files) into a MySQL Database with a web-based frontend. This will also involve writing the Data Export routines to export data from the client’s order handling system.
The technologies used in this project will be Java, MYSQL (or ANSI SQL). HTML, Javascript and JQuery. We will expect the successful candidate to have a strong background in these disciplines and have knowledge of database replication, mapping and data transfer methods.
The candidate will be required to work under their own initiative with occasional guidance from existing project team members and should be able to perform research on data loading and tuning techniques native to specific database software.
Additional skills and experience that may be beneficial are an understanding of Drools rules engine, web services skills and previous experience of IT development within the payment service industry.
Position is available immediately and will last for 2 months from start date. We perceive the project to involve a 5/6 day working week (depending on hours worked per day) and the candidate will need to work onsite at client offices 2-3 days per week minimum.
Duration (est.): 40 days
Date (est.): 02/05/2012 - 29/06/2012
