Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi there,
I'm a musician doing my website, and I'm looking for someone to convert my Photoshop file into a Wordpress site. I'd love to be able to update shows, tracks, and pictures myself if possible. I have all the pages of the site in different Photoshop layers. There will be 7 pages total (including the home page) which will be:
Home
Shows
Music
Gallery
Video
News
Contact
There is a layer that is labeled "Index/Home Page". This would be the menu layout for the home page obviously. There is another layer above it labeled "2nd Menu". This would be the menu layout for all pages except the home page. Here are a couple of features I would love it to have:
Music: SoundCloud player widget with "iTunes", "Like", and "Share" links
Shows: for now, it will just say "Shows Coming Soon", but when I have some shows booked, here is some reference for event layout I like: http://www.frankandderol.com/tour/ and http://scarey.org/tour
Photos: faded collage of photos; rolling over with the mouse puts them at full opacity; clicking on a picture makes it bigger, and opens a horizontal gallery with arrows to the right and left. Reference: http://scarey.org/
Vidoes: coming soon (as I have in my PSD file)
News: template as I've laid out (blog style)
Store: as I've laid out, and the "CD" button links to my Big Cartel website.
Email sign up: as shown at the bottom.
I'm hosting the site with NameCheap.com, and I hope to have the site up by the end of December. I don't have a huge budget, so I just want to see how much this kind of job would cost me (I'm hoping no more than $500). I'm also open to some additional graphic design ideas to improve what I have going. I've attached some screen shots of my pages in Photoshop for reference.
