The purpose of this video is to sell myself to future employers so that they will take notice of me over all other candidates. I need this video completed by November 24th. I have created about a two minute voice over for the video from the following script:
Hi, my name is Madison Pinnell, and I am an emerging professional in the field of sports administration.
I am currently a senior at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
In May of 2015 I will be graduating from the department of health and human performance with a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Leisure Service Administration and a minor in Business Administration.
From a very early age I took an intense interest in sports. I learned a lot about responsibility, respect and time management acting as a team captain for my softball and basketball teams through my senior year of high school. I knew immediately that I wanted to continue pursuing my passion for athletics in college.
Throughout my college career I have gained valuable skills and have been provided with many opportunities to enhance my knowledge and deepen my understanding in the field of sports administration. These new experiences came from the classroom, and from the opportunity to work hands on with professional and college athletic teams.
I committed 200 hours within two semesters to assist with games and events for the basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and softball teams at UTC. My work in this area included working in the ticket office, press box, and game day marketing and promotional activities.
I am currently working to deepen my skills in public relations, social media, and operations as an intern for the Chattanooga Mocs football team.
In addition to my high school and college sports administration experience, I’ve also had experience professionally. I recently held an internship position as a statistician with a Chattanooga semi-pro basketball team, The Rail Runners. Here I expanded my knowledge beyond high school and college athletics to the professional realm.
These roles combined with being enrolled as a full-time student have taught me necessary fundamentals, such as organization, communication, and critical thinking skills.
I am eager to share my professional talents with the success of your company!
