Description
Experience Level: Expert
In search of an American voice for a TUPAC documentary - the voice-over artist needs to have a conversational tone, sound like they are talking from memory rather than the script and deliver the reading with weight and control.
Please submit a sample recording of the paragraph below to be considered:
'Tupac said that he and his mother went through stages; at first, it was mother and son, then drill sergeant and cadet, then it was like a dictator and a little country. Then he moved out; he was on his own, broke with nowhere to stay. He smoked weed, hung out with drug dealers, criminals and pimps. He said that they were the only people who cared about him. He wished that he had a father, a male influence, but instead, these people were the influencers. Saying that, it was easy to tell that he had spent time on the streets when he spoke - the words he would say could never come from a mother or a father’s mouth. They came from a pimp's mouth or a prostitute or a hustler or drug dealer. He said that they were his role models.'
