Multi-dialect English Speech Data Programme

We are looking for people with genuine, natural regional accents and dialects, particularly:
1. Scottish English
2. Midlands English
3. Welsh English
4. Irish English
5. Liverpool / Scouse
6. Geordie
7. Cockney
8. London English
9. Australian English
10. New Zealand English

What does participation involve?
The process is very straightforward. Selected participants will:
• Complete a short voice/dialect screening
• Take part in 5 natural conversations with an automated voice agent
• Spend at least 6 minutes on each conversation
• Follow simple conversation scenarios and instructions
• Complete the sessions using the appropriate phone or web-based setup

No acting, voice-over experience or memorisation is required.
We are interested in your natural everyday speech, including normal pauses, fillers and conversational variation. Please do not imitate or exaggerate an accent.

We are recruiting across different age groups and backgrounds, so whether you're 18 or 65+, you may be relevant to the study.
