I am looking for an audio engineer to help me isolate these R.E.M. vocals from the studio quality 5.1.
Channels 1, 2 and 3 contain the raw Stipe vocals whilst 5 and 6 contain the backvocals and the double vocal layers. With the 5.1 which can be downloaded from this link, you can phase in and out the channls and hide the Stipe vocals, and keep the "time I had" vocals.

Attached to this proposal is a sample on what the Stipe lead vocals sound like from a phased 5.1.
