Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
One of my clients gave sent me a recorded batukada theme, based on which I will have to shoot a video. After listening to the track I have come to the conclusion that the sound is not good enough. It sounds flat, no contrast, no power....
So basically I will provide the final track in .wav and need someone to remaster it => Add more contrast between parts ( so there is a contrast between powerful and softer parts ), reduce the reverb of some of the drums ( which sometimes is just too much, and overall turn it into a more powerful track, not just the flat as it sounds now....
I ahev experiemented a little bit ( I have zero knowledge of sound software ) and found out that simply by multiplying the copies of the same track during the parts which are supposed to be more powerfull, it makes a big difference, so maybe this kind of technique could be good if done properly.
I will provide 2 tracks => the flat one recorded in studio ( batukada_studio.wav ) and another one which they had recorded with a mobile phone and on which it is easier to understand the contrast between parts ( batukadalowqualityrec.mp4 ) =>

Unfortunately I cannot pay much for this job but I also would understand if the final output is not the most amazing track ever heard. I just need a significant improvement done in a fast and effective way.
I also add some links for references of what an ideal powerful sound would be like =>
