Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Here is an eight and half minute audio interview.
It’s partially edited but needs completing. With tlc it will make a lovely piece but the acoustic environment is quite challenging.
I am looking for someone to do the following with it (not necessarily in this order):
a) To adjust all the clips so that they are of a equalized / balanced volume level (currently she is much louder at points than others)
b) For each of the clips / sections to create a lead in lead out (fade in fade out). These should probably be connected with a little of the distant back ground sound – so the effect is of her talking continuously but fading in and fading out.
c) To put a quiet underlying outdoor ambient sound track underneath it just to give the whole unity.
d) To clean up the very distinct patches of muffling caused either by wind or by knocking of the microphone. (These are visible by very distinct wave patterns). This can be done partly by filtering (possibly by using an extract of that sound and filtering out) or also by splitting the stereo tracks and where one side of the stereo is much more pronounced in this distortion, duplicating the better side and so reducing the wind noise.
e) Click removal.
NB although tools will play a part in this process – it is also going to be a bit of a labour of love – it will need editing attention by hand not simply running it through a couple of filters and hoping for the best.

I am looking to finish this in the next 48 hours.
