Multilingual fashion transcreationists

We are currently looking for super-specialised linguists willing to take care of the more creative translation requests we receive.

The source language is English (sometimes Danish) and the target languages are as follows:

• Danish
• Norwegian
• Swedish
• Finnish
• German
• Dutch
• French
• Spanish
• English

The texts to be translated span from market presentations, customer offers, magazines and commercial banners - all for the fashion industry.

These projects will entail an active stream of feedback going from the client/us to you and back. This feedback will then be reflected in all translations, and should lead to the creation and on-going update of glossaries and style guides.

This means that a cooperative, pro-active and enthusiastic approach is essential.

The ideal applicant will have the following mandatory requirements:
• Linguistic background
• Experience in the fashion market as a translator/PR/copywriter
• Interest in the fashion industry
• Excellent knowledge of the source language
• Native level of the target language and residence in the target language country

Other desirable features we seek in our applicants are:
• Proven up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends (magazine reading, attending events, etc.)
• References from relevant personalities in the fashion industry

Most important of all, we look for dynamic and creative people!
