Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
This is suitable for someone with a good eye for design and usability, it will require some initiative on your part to work out the correct key phrases for googling, and the ability to pick out the best of the best on the internet.
I am working on a real time live events platform, that companies can use to stream keynote presentations to their customers and meet them in virtual rooms similar to Google Meet. We've had a successful year of prototyping and working with customers. We want to take it to the next level and need some inspiration.
This research project has two priorities:
1 - We'd like to come up with some new fun features that a live events platform might have
2 - We'd like to see lots of visuals of great UX on conference websites (online and offline)
Some pointers:
* What other similar web products are already out there? What sort of features do they have, what do they look like? (This may include the metaverse, but don't focus solely on it)
* What do real world conference websites look like ... this may give us some decent UX ideas? Am especially interested in at least two examples of really good conference agendas look
For instance, you might look at:
https://ukcop26.org/
You might add screenshots of the homepage, indicating how well the hero banner and welcome blocks stand out, usage of social media integrations, and how well the sponsors layout stands out ...
Hopefully this is enough of a description to have a fair idea of what it's about, but please ask questions.
I'm just testing the water regarding budget. I'd prefer quality over quantity and this may lead to other work either expanding on your research, or other stuff that we are up to and I hope it does! :-)
