Research - into what strategies an industry leader has employed

I have an industry leader that I want to know more about, in terms of what strategies they employ, across social media, blogging etc to gain public attention and how they have positioned themselves as an industry leader and how I could possibly emulate the path they taken.

I'd like you to monitor them for 1-2 weeks, see what their schedule looks like (they're very active across all forms of media so it's easy to do) and maybe help me identify why there is such great demand for this person. All the persons details will be given via PM.
