Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for someone with a background in social/public policy and/or social research that could contribute to a study on the social impact of welfare changes to people living in financial difficulties.
The project would require you to be part of our project team and provide the following support:
- Input to the research design and research materials to ensure that the potential implications of the existing welfare changes are fully explored
- Potentially some support, depending on your location in the U.K, in conducting some of the research
- Input in to the reporting, especially on the implications of the research findings and the impact and potential adjustments required to public services.
Ideally, the person working with us on this would have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Public/social policy work at a local or central Government level or with a think tank or charity
- Social research background, with experience conducting research in to the areas of wellbeing and/or poverty and/or the welfare system
- Economist, with experience in socio-economics and/or welfare economics and/or the interplay between economics and public policy
We are not looking for 'experts', just people with sound experience that could add to our project team.
