Peer to Peer airbnb

I work in local Gov here in Noosa QLD Australia. We have a real problem on our hands with short stay accommodation (airbnb) happening all through our low density living areas.
Can someone do me a short presentation powerpoint etc.
On around the world examples how governments both local and federal are dealing with this short term accommodation crisis's in residential streets.
Let me say now I em a supporter of short term accom I think its great and why shouldn't a Pearson being able to rent out their spare room or whole housing for a few extra bucks. Renting it out as a party house in low density areas turning that street in to a party type atmosphere I don't agree with.
