Uberlaundrys.co.uk is a marketing company who generate laundry leads from across the UK and then get local agents to do the actual work. We are looking to emulate their model but in other industries.
We need someone to do some market research on industries across the UK and give us examples where the same thing could be applied.
You may start off by looking in Yell at the main categories and researching each one - or you may use a classified directory of your own choice but it should be complete.
The main sort of industries we are looking for should:
1) be nationwide - so they can be found across the UK,
2) have local agents who can sign up to our service,
3) be services which consumers can easily book or pay for online,
4) be something you may use at least a few times a year,
5) not already have strong competition online.
Your research document should cover the above points.
We expect the report to be in table format rather than an essay. It should be sorted by industry name in alphabetical order. Your report needs to have a minimum of 100 industries that you have looked at and graded for each of the points above.
For example:
carpenter | yes | yes | yes | no | no (strong competition from checkatrade)
You also need to ensure you cover a good range of industries from A to Z, for example don't fill up the table with food companies or companies in one vertical.
You don't need to write us an essay or copy and paste graphics from anywhere. We don't require an introduction or fancy formatting. We need good quality research which is on time and well considered.
In order to ensure you are working in the right way we request to pay a deposit first and then confirm draft 1 (for example up to 10 industries). Then once we are happy that you know what you are doing you can proceed and we can complete the task in hand.
