Description
I need to know who the top 150-300 business service companies are in the UK with -350 employees are, ranked by revenue, turnover and or market capitalization, (*if available - a number of these companies will be Pre- IPO /start-up's and private so may not disclose financials) and have this segmented and filtered by sub-industry eg. technology, and location, you will also need to show if the companies headquarters are in the UK - this part is very important.
With thanks,
Kyle

I was just going to engage someone to do this - sorry for the slight delay.
I was going to look this afternoon for the top 20 initially in each of the four categories that you mention in the notes, based on the criteria given (they will most likely be by revenue or turnover based on the criteria you have mentioned..although I could easily go through the FTSE 350 too and pick out the relevant ones by market cap..Pearson, Weir and Capita are ones that come to mind.
In terms of the Head Offices that you require for each these may not show up on the database that I'm going to look at because a certain number of companies have their registered office as their Accountants or Lawyers offices..the head office may have to be searched online for instead?Kyle B.18 Jan 2017Sounds like your profile is a perfect fit look forward to the first set of results - if you have more questions feel free to text me on 07824141235 - I need to show progress soon.. On the HQ piece, do what you can, the more detail the better but keep it within your solution for now. Cheers
Francis E.18 Jan 2017OK, there were three categories within the database that I'm looking for for Staffing which is the one I used as an example. Rather than look at the top twenty for each sub-category I chose the 60 top companies for Staffing.
The results are coming out right I feel as the number one on the list was Hays which you might expect. The data provided includes registered office postcode, number of employees, turnover.
I'm quite sure I can therefore get the other categories that you need in that detail. I can also take you through how the searches are done so that you can have a modus operendi for future campaigns.
I have a secondary source of data which is specific to one type of company but maybe something that would be quite useful.
I'm sure I can get you plenty of data - there maybe more to do to refine this for specifics Kyle - I'm available if you need some of that done.
I guess what's required is a fair pricing scheme for this - if I just pitch in a random suggestion for £15 for each of the four lists (I can give you 60 companies rather than 20 for each of the 4 categories. I'll provide you with a fifth list which will be listed companies plus those from my own source of data that I mentioned (I'm ok if this isn't what you need when you look at it but I've a feeling that it will be).
After that I can offer you admin ph rates if you want to go to specifics, head office checking, attempts to get contact names etc.
I guess that's £75 for the first bulk of 300 companies/PLC's or so, to include narrative about how the list is put together such that you/a colleague can replicate this in year's to come..and it covers any fees on my side to get the data and PPH's commission which is knocked off this £75.
How's that?
If you want to go ahead I can send over the first 60 records and have the rest before lunchtime tomorrow if that's good for you? -

Tks for the Invite Kyle. How are you defining 'business services companies'?
Kyle B.11 Jan 2017please excuse me, i need to be able to filter by t/o, revenue, employee size, market cap and sub-industry, not rank - that wouldn't make any sense. So Business services are any organisations segmented by a SIC code - accountancy, legal, law firms etc will see if I can find a classification document if that would help? How confident are you with taking this on?
Francis E.11 Jan 2017Hi Kyle, the normal business protocol is to provide full references to acronyms and then the acronym in inverted commas, for example 'SIC'.
I may have a pathway to do it, there will be some manual excel plugging to get you the data you need. It obviously makes sense to get closer to your requirements to avoid confusion. When are you looking to have the data by?
