Field researcher - Customer interviews

Job Title: Native/Fluent Mandarin and English speaking researcher
Role: Temporary
Location: Central Shanghai
Reporting to: Supervisor
Start Date: 24th - 25th September 2010
Hours: 8 hours work across a 10 hour day (for 2 days)

Our company is working on an exciting project researching customer behaviour and key metrics within our clients fashion retail store in central Shanghai. In order to do this we require a native speaking Mandarin researcher (who also speaks fluent English) with previous experience in customer interviewing to assist with capturing data across a 2 day period for around 8-9hours per day.

Responsibilities include:

Confidently approaching female customers in a fashion retail store and encouraging them to complete a short questionnaire about their shopping experience
Following a structured day schedule for the duration of the 2 day research project

What are we looking for?

Native/Fluent in both Mandarin and English
Preferably you would be based near central Shanghai
Researchers looking for part-time work or part-time workers looking to boost earnings
Experience of, and an interest in retail a distinct advantage
Hard working, flexible in hours and attitude
Ability to grasp what we are trying to achieve and the importance of collecting accurate data
