Description of Business Development: I am looking for someone to call up contacts and pitch the concept of Free Features to them, to gain interest in receiving proposals about what we do. The aim is to target different companies for different subject sections. For example we are currently seeking a sponsor for our Christmas section so their ads will go with every Christmas feature we supply to any of our 4000 subscribed media users. We also see sponsors/advertisers for subjects such as Health, Beauty, Travel, Finance, Property, Retirement, Diet and Fitness, Parenting, Gardening, Leisure, Film, TV, Music and so on. We can provide lists of target contacts and also indicate what subject areas they could be interested in.
Extra notes: This would suit someone with media sales experience who has an understanding of what marketers are aiming to achieve. The goal is to gain enough interest so that we can offer a proposal and close the deal at this end. Free Features is unique and therefore gains good responses from potential advertisers. The key is to get to enough people and target each section by subject.
We are currently seeking sponsors for the end of this year and for 2017. The target is to close 6 new sponsors this year and gain interest for 8-10 subjects in the New Year.
